Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Waggon Inn offer facilities for those with Disabilities?
Absolutely; we offer disabled access and toilet facilities and as our pub is on one main level, our disabled customers should have no problems enjoying their time at the Waggon Inn.
Do You Accept Credit Cards?
Yes; we accept most major credit cards, but we are unable to accept American Express at this time.
Is there good parking at the Waggon Inn?
We have a large car park to the side of the Waggon Inn that can cater for a large number of vehicles.
My lunch time is limited – can I pre-order before I arrive so I can still enjoy a meal without any preparation wait time?
From Monday to Friday, we offer an Express Lunch Service, where you can pre-order by phone or by Fax so that your meal will be ready for you when you arrive. View our menu by clicking the boxes on the right.
Can I Book a Table Online or by email?
We have considered this, but because of our lifetime experience in the hospitality industry coupled with the unreliability of email and some of the online services we have tested, we prefer that you book by telephone. That way you will know instantly if we have a table for you and also gives us a better idea of when to prepare for your arrival.
Can I Bring my Children to the Pub?
Of course, we welcome families with well-behaved children!
We do ask that the children are accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 21 and that they vacate the premises by 9.00 p.m.
Do You Permit Dogs in the Pub?
Because our Pub focuses so much on food, we feel that having dogs in an area where food is so prominent would have a derimental effect on the dining experience of our patrons, so unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside the Pub.
However, we do welcome owners with guide dogs.
Do You Have Tables Outside Where We Can Eat?
We will try to accommodate your request for an ‘al fresco’ dining experience, but much depends on the main pub. The Waggon Inn can get very busy serving meals and we may not be able to cater for food outside at extra busy times.
Can We Enjoy a Drink Outside?
In the warmer months you are welcome to use the tables outside the Pub so that you may enjoy your drinks in the brief interludes of good weather we sometimes experience!
